I went up to Sky72 just before dusk on a weekday evening. The elevator ride felt almost cinematic — quiet, fast, and smooth, dropping me off into a sleek modern lounge above the clouds.
I grabbed a seat by the window and watched the light shift: first the harsh afternoon sun softened, then the buildings’ lights blinked on one by one. A soft breeze slipped through the slightly cracked window panes overhead, and the distant hum of Hanoi traffic became a muted panorama below.
After lingering for 30-40 minutes, I wandered over to the 3D-photo zone and tried out a few silly backdrops, then headed down to one of the high-end restaurants in the building for dinner. It felt like seeing Hanoi and sophistication all in one tall moment.
