The Hanoi Train operates three departures daily:
- Morning: 8:00 - 11:30 | Hanoi Station ➟ Tu Son Station ➟ Hanoi Station
- Afternoon: 13:30 - 17:00 | Hanoi Station ➟ Tu Son Station ➟ Hanoi Station
What to Expect

- Round-trip shuttle bus in Bac Ninh: Tu Son Station ↔ Do Temple.
- Visit the sacred Do Temple - the place to worship 8 Kings of the Ly Dynasty with a tour guide.
- Listen to Quan Ho folk songs and interact directly with the Lien Anh and Lien Chi singers at Thuy Dinh.
- Experience traditional crafts: making Dong Ho paintings, wrapping Phu The cakes
Onboard Entertainment & Culture
This isn’t a silent rail commute. Expect traditional music performances — quan họ (love-duet folk singing from Kinh Bắc), ca trù, xẩm, and chèo — plus live demonstrations of Dong Hồ folk painting and “Phu The” cake making, as well as craft workshops built into the train experience.
You’ll also receive regional snacks and drinks, such as sticky rice, lotus-scented tea, seasonal treats, and possibly light meals depending on the departure.
