ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai (L, D)
06:30 – 07:00: Meet at the bus station in Hanoi or hotel pickup and board the comfortable sleeper or limo bus for Sapa.
07:30 – 11:45: Travel along the highway to Lao Cai with a short comfort stop en route.
11:45 – 13:00: Scenic drive through winding mountain roads with panoramic views of valleys and terraced fields.
13:00: Arrive in Sapa, welcome drink, and tour briefing, followed by lunch at a local restaurant.
14:15: Begin trekking from Y Linh Ho, passing through lush rice terraces and along the Muong Hoa stream to the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai. Continue to Ta Van village, home of the Dzay ethnic group. (~9 km trek, 3.5 hours)
17:45: Arrive at the homestay, meet the Dzay family, and participate in local cooking. Enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in the village.
Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai – Cat Cat Village (B, L, D)
08:00: Breakfast at the homestay, then prepare for another day of trekking.
08:45 – 11:00: Trek through terraced rice paddies and bamboo forests, enjoying stunning landscapes and panoramic views before reaching Giang Ta Chai village, home of the Red Dzao people. (~4 km trek, 2 hours).
11:00: Cross Giang Ta Chai Bridge and meet the bus for the return trip to Sapa town.
12:00 – 14:00: Arrive in Sapa, lunch, and check-in at your hotel.
14:30 – 16:30: Explore Cat Cat village, home to the Black H’mong. Trek downhill to the valley and visit the waterfall and the historic French hydropower station. Capture great photos before heading uphill for the bus back to Sapa. (~2.5 km trek)
16:30 – 19:00: Free time to relax or explore the town. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Sapa – Hanoi (B, L)
Wake up and enjoy the fresh air and atmosphere of Sapa.
07:30 – 12:00: Breakfast at the hotel and free time to discover Sapa at your own pace. Stroll through local markets or enjoy a coffee with a mountain view. You can also opt for a trip to Fansipan by cable car.
12:30 – 13:00: Lunch and leisure time before departure.
13:30: Meet the group at the hotel for departure.
14:00 – 20:30: Board the bus back to Hanoi with two short breaks along the way. Arrive in Hanoi around 20:30 – 21:00. End of tour.
