ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi - Cat Ba Island - Lan Ha Bay Cruise (L, D)
- 7:00-7.30 the bus pickup at your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Cat Ba (or you can book a private car).
- 12:15: welcome on board. Do the check in and start the navigation, the junk will cruise to take you to pass by the floating village.
- Have lunch on boat in Lan Ha bay.
- Keep cruising to the most scenic areas of the bay with hundreds of beautiful islands.
- Continue cruising further to see the unique Lan Ha bay.
- Kayak through the narrow lagoons and tunnel caves called Hang Ca (the Bat Cave).
- Cruise to Bai Trai Dao beaches. Free for swimming and relax to enjoy the sunset on thebay.
- Anchor at a calm water area for dinner and experience the peaceful night on the junk among beautiful mountains.
Day 2: Lan Ha bay - Viet Hai Village (B, L, D)
- Wake up early to see the dawn on the bay and then have breakfast.
- Get off the boat at Viet Hai Port. Start walking or cycling to Viet Hai village inside Cat Ba National Park. The tour will help you to understand how the locals can make the livings while the whole village is surrounded by mountains. Or (private charter cruise) If you do not like the village, the boat takes you to see some other parts of the bay then you visit a floating fish farm. You will learn how the local people there make their livings.
- Get back to the boat. Have lunch on boat.
- Visit one floating farm to see how the locals make their livings.
- Kayak through tunnel cave called Hang Luon then to scheduled beach.
- Enjoy swimming more before dinner and spend another lovely night on the bay.
Day 2: Lan Ha bay - Hanoi (B, L)
- Have breakfast on boat.
- Cruise to one small beach or stop at the middle of the bay for relaxing and enjoy the last swimming on the bay and have lunch on the way back.
- 11:45 AM get off the boat to Cat Ba Island.
- Take a bus at 12:30 back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel in Hanoi around 17.00.
